Talk of Toney

Blue Water Springs Pool:
Due to the filter exploding, the opening of the pool has been postponed
indefinitely. If we find the funds and volunteers to help us with the
pool, we are hoping to open it later this summer.
For everyone that helped with trying to get the pool open for our
community, we want to thank you. It is becoming more and more difficult to find people that will volunteer their time, even if it is only an hour or so, to keep the pool and park going.
Blue Water Springs Park and Pool are ran by volunteers. The only paid
staff at the park is our lifeguard. The rest of us are just plain
people that want our kids to have a safe, clean place to go. A place to play softball, baseball, football, soccer, basketball &cheer leading.
A place to fish and swim or to go to the playground and have picnics. We are just people with families and jobs that just add one more thing on our list of things to do.
Without help with the little things, the big things will not be
accomplished. Without help with the pool, it could very possibly not
open.
