Madison Volleyball Skills Clinic 2002
Madison Volleyball Skills Clinic 2002 will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday starting June 4 and ending July 31. The exception will be June 25 has been moved to June 27. The time will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for sixth and seventh graders; 7 to 8:30 p.m. for eighth and ninth graders. The cost is $45. Make checks payable to Chris Coppens. Madison Children's Theatre will present Charlotte's Web at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on June 14 and 15 at the Von Braun Center Playhouse. Tour of gardens
Two Madison gardens will be featured in The Huntsville Botanical Garden's "A Tour of Gardens with a Personal Touch" on June 15-16. The event will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. both days. Admission is by ticket only and the gardens may be visited in any order on either one of the two days. Tickets can be purchased either day at any of the gardens on the tour or at the Botanical Garden prior to the event. Admission is $15 and garden members receive a $2 discount. The gardens of Ed and Karen Voelker at 115 Lake Point Circle in Edgewater, and the gardens of Robert and Nancy Thibodeau at 482 Rainbow Drive, will be featured in Madison. The other three gardens are in Huntsville at 1523 Ward Ave., 303 Ormond Circle, and 5832 Jones Valley Drive. The Huntsville Botanical Garden is located at 4747 Bob Wallace Ave.

Boys Basketball Camp
The sixth annual Dublin Park Boys Basketball Camp will be held on June 17-21 at Dublin Park. This is for ages 7-16. The time will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The fee is $50. For more information, call 772-9300.

Alice in Wonderland
The Madison Community Chorus will present Alice in Wonderland at 7 p.m. on July 20-21 and again at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on June 22 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. A $2 discount is available for corporate sponsors. An additional 10 percent discount is available for groups. Piano Camp
Piano Camp Summer 2002 will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on June 24-27 at AB Stephens in Huntsville. The camp will be held for children ages 8 – 12 years. The cost is $49 per session and enrollment is limited. This is a basic introduction to the keyboard. Students will learn how to play right-hand melodies with the accompanying left-hand chord. I Love America
Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville will present "I Love America" on June 30 through July 4.
The doors will open one hour early and a pre-show will start 30 minutes before the presentation. The times are 6 p.m. on June 30; 7 p.m. on July 1-3; 2 p.m. on July 4. Benefit dance
A ballroom dance with dance show to benefit The March of Dimes will be held Sunday, July 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Marriott in Huntsville at the Space and Rocket Center. Tickets are $15 and $5 from each ticket will be donated to The March of Dimes. There will be hors devourers and a cash bar. La Leche League helps mothers worldwide to breast feed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement and information to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of baby and mother. Madison Senior Citizen Center swimming
Madison seniors can swim at the Madison Senior Citizen Center at 1282 Hughes Road. The pool is open from 9 to 10 a.m., Monday through Thursday.
