Calhoun announces record summer enrollment
Approximately 5,012 students have enrolled for the summer semester at Calhoun Community College – surpassing its enrollment during the summer of 2001.
The figure represents an increase of 667 students over last summer's enrollment of 4,345. The increase marks the first time summer enrollment at Calhoun has topped the 5,000 mark. Approximately 2,862 students are enrolled at the Decatur campus, 1,760 students are taking evening and weekend classes at the Huntsville/Cummings Research Park campus, 54 students are in classes taught at the Redstone Arsenal extension and 336 inmates are enrolled in certificate/vocational courses provided at the Limestone Correctional Facility.
