Free marriage seminar
Steve and Annie Chapman will be coming to Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison on Saturday, Aug. 24.There will be a free marriage seminar from 1 to 4 p.m. Dinner will follow from 4:45 to 6:30 p.m. and the cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. At 7 p.m., there will be a concert for the entire family. The cost is $1 per person. For tickets, call Jan Hicks at 837-0365, ext. 139, or jan.hicks@asburyumc.ws to make arrangements.

Moms In Touch informational luncheon
A Moms In Touch informational luncheon, open to anyone interested in finding more about the Moms In Touch ministry, aimed at mother's who gather to pray for students, teachers and schools, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room J125 of the Joy Building at Asbury United Methodist Church on Hughes Road in Madison. Childcare is available with a reservation by calling Marilyn Merkel at 325-1800.
St. Andrews Episcopal starts 20-minute prayer service
St. Andrew's Episcopal Chapel in Madison is starting a new "Come as You Are" morning prayer service each Sunday morning.
The 20-minute service will only offer a time of prayer and two scripture readings with no sermon or offering. St. Andrew's Chapel is a mission of the United Episcopal Church and meets at Heritage Plaza (Suite N), 1871 Slaughter Road in Madison.
