Students place in Junior Miss Pageant

Bob Jones High School was well represented at the recent Madison County Junior Miss Contest with Ashley Hoffman named first runner up and Emry McKay named second runner up.
The contest featured categories in scholastic achievement, poise, interview, physical fitness and talent.
Hoffman won the poise division in the contest and is an active student at Bob Jones. She currently serves as president of the senior class and is a participant in the National Honor Society, Beta Club, United Way Youth and the Dance Team.
She is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison where she is active in the youth group and sings in the choir. Hoffman, the daughter of Rob and Charlotte Hoffman, plans to attend Auburn University next fall.
McKay won the best essay and physical fitness categories in the contest and is also an active student at Bob Jones. She serves as the co-captain of the Cross Country Team and is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society.
McKay, the daughter of Joe and Kacy McKay, has participated in the Student Government Association and was Miss Madison in 2000-2001.
She attends First Baptist Church in Madison and involved in the Ensemble Choir and Youth Choir. She plans to attend The University of Alabama in Birmingham next fall.
