Rotary Club to host charity golf tourney

By Staff
If you enjoy a good game of golf and would like to play a round for a good cause, the Rotary Club of Madison will host its third annual charity golf tournament on April 5 at the Colonial Golf Course in Madison County.
A shotgun start will be held at 1 p.m. with a four-person scramble. The cost is $65 per player or $250 per team, which includes a round of golf, giveaway bag, range balls and lunch. Mulligans are $5 each – four-team total and will be sold at the door.
To be a hole sponsor, the cost is $100 per hole. There are 18 holes available. A sign will be provided for the company if signage isn't provided.
Prizes for the golf tourney include a first place team net score, second place team net score, last place team highest net score, and prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin. A hole-in-one prize of a brand new automobile will be offered.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. The shotgun start will be held at 1 p.m. It will be followed by a cookout at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call John Allen at 922-0092 or Steve McElhiney at 327-3430.
