Emmett Herman Jeffreys, 85,  of Madison died April 29, 2010,at Crestwood Medical Center. He was a World War II Army veteran of the Ordinance Group 3rd Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ester B. Jeffreys; father, Henry Jeffreys; mother, Alice Jeffreys; grandson, unnamed Masterson; and two brothers, Ruby Jeffreys and Flur Jeffreys.
He is survived by his son, Bob Jeffreys of Madison; daughter, Shelia Masterson and husband Roger of Wolf Spring; sisters, Glenice Carpenter of Cloverdale and Mildred Hagood of Hatton; grandsons, Sean Masterson and Lance Jeffreys; granddaughters, Stacie SanSoucie and Meredith Clark; and great-grandchildren, Ella Clark, Owen Clark and Avery Jeffreys.
Visitation was held at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial was in Masterson Cemetery in Town Creek.
