Summer camp dates set

The 2010 Eric Cohu Football Camp will be held June 7-10 at the Madison Academy practice field.
The session for players in grades 1-4 will be from 8-11 a.m., while the session for players in grades 5-8 will be held daily from 1-4 p.m.
The camp, conducted by Madison Academy head football coach Eric Cohu, will include combine-type skills, specific instruction for individual positions and team play.
Also, there will be daily guest speakers at the two sessions.
Each camper will receiver a T-shirt.
The cost of the camp is $100.

AYSO soccer camp
The AYSO soccer Region 498 camps for players 6-16 years old will be held in two sessions at Palmer Park in Madison.
Half-day camps will be held from 9 a.m. until noon and from 5-8 p.m. June 14-18 and July 5-9.
The cost is $105 and includes a soccer ball.
A mini camp for players ages 4-5 will run on the same dates from 9-10:30 a.m.
The cost of the camp is $75 and includes a soccer ball.

Sparkman Basketball Camp
The Coach June Seals Boys’ and Girls’ Camp of Champions will be held June 1-4 at the Monrovia Community Center off Jeff Road.
The first session – for players entering second through sixth grades – will be from 8 a.m. to noon.
The second session – for players entering seventh grade and up – will run from 1-5 p.m.
The camp will feature fundamentals and teamwork. There will also be 5-on-5 play each day.
Registration fee is $65 and includes a camp T-shirt.

Madison Academy Basketball Camps
The Mustang Basketball Camp for players in kindergarten through the eighth grade will be held from 8 a.m. to noon July 19-22.
Cost of the camp is $90.
A shooting camp for players in sixth through 12th grades will be held the same days from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Cost of the shooting camp is $60.
The camps will be directed by Madison Academy head boys’ coach Andy Blackston and Madison Academy head girls’ coach Brian Privett.
