James Manning; Aug. 22, 2010

James Thomas Manning, 68, of Madison passed away Aug. 22, at a local hospital.

Mr. Manning was a member of the Church of Christ at Gooch Lane.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Manning; daughters, Tonya West of Toney and Tammy McClure of Florida; son, Dirk Manning of New Market; stepdaughter, Gale Uselton of Madison; two sisters, Margaret Johnson of Huntsville and Martha Stickel of Madison; a special niece, Nenna Hamer; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was from noon to 2 p.m., Aug. 24, at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
