Pinstripe Fest returns to Blue Pants Brewery

By GREGG L. PARKER / For the Record

MADISON – One of its popular annual events, Pinstripe Fest returns to Blue Pants Brewery on Nov. 4.

The Pinstripe Fest is “a celebration of all things stout at the taproom,” co-owner Michael Spratley said. “People are impressed with the amount of flavor we pull out of all our beers.”

For one night during Pinstripe Fest, Blue Pants will offer more than a dozen flavors of their Pinstripe Stout. Flavors will include Super Hoppy, Hot Sauce, Apple Pie, Coconut, Mango and several other flavors.

“Everything that we brew is rich and complex but balanced and incredibly smooth,” Michael said.

“We are partnering with I Love Bacon Food Truck (ilovebacontruck.com) to provide a unique dining experience for guests,” co-owner Allison Spratley said. Food will be available to purchase at the event. “Look for more updates about the menu as the event gets closer.”

Falcon Punch will perform live from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. “If you haven’t had the chance to see them perform, now is your chance,” Spratley said.

For 2016, guests will have two different ticket options:

* Unlimited ticket, which includes souvenir glass and unlimited samples (five ounces each) of Pinstripe flavors throughout the event. Cost is $25.

* Punch card ticket, which includes souvenir glass and four samples (five ounces each) of Pinstripe flavors at a cost of $10. Guests can purchase additional punch cards during the event for $10 each to receive four more samples.

To buy Pinstripe Stout tickets, visit bpb.ticketbud.com/pf2016.

In other special events, Blue Pants hosts “We Care Wednesday” to help raise money for a local non-profit organization. “We donate $1 from every beer or cocktail sold that day,” Spratley said. “We are excited to be partnering with so many great organizations, including Merrimack Hall on Oct. 19 and Bullies 2 the Rescue on Oct. 26.”

An organization that wants to participate in We Care Wednesday can email bluepantsbrew.com/contact. Openings are available for this fall.

Blue Pants’ address is 500 Lanier Road, Building 1, Suite A in Madison. For more information, visit bluepantsbrew.com, Facebook/Blue Pants Brewery or Twitter @bluepantsbrew.
