Dad returning from deployment surprises his kids at school

MADISON – Friday the 13th may be considered to an unlucky day, but for three siblings in Madison it was a great day they will never forget.
Isaac, Luke and Libby were all surprised at their schools on Friday by their father, Nate Allen, who has been deployed with the Army Reserve since last May.
Allen’s three children go to Bob Jones, Discovery and Madison Elementary. With some help from his wife, Sue, he was able to surprise each one of them. None of them had any idea their father was coming home until he showed up at each school with a big hug for each of them.
This was an extra special surprise for his daughter, Libby, whose birthday is March 17. All she has wanted was to have her dad home.
Allen was with the 77th Sustainment Brigade out of Fort Dix, New Jersey. He spent half of his deployment in Kuwait and the other half in Amman, Jordan.
