Chamber’s Best in Business Awards going virtual this year
MADISON – The annual recognition of the top businesses in Madison is going virtual this year. The Madison Chamber of Comerce Best in Business Awards ceremony will be held Oct. 20. It will be streamed live starting at 2 p.m. from the Office of Spenryn Training Room.
To nominate a business, click here. Nominations are due by Sept. 9 at 5 p.m.
Chamber officials said nominees will receive their nomination packets via email and are to submit the application via email to Chamber Marketing Director Felecia Rodgers at felecia@madisonalchamber.com on Friday, Sept. 25 by 5 p.m. Once all packets are received, an independent panel of judges will evaluate and score each application by category.
“We have 12 categories: Start-Up Business of the Year, Excellence in Leadership & Service, Health & Wellness Business of the Year, Medical Practice of the Year, Culinary Business of the Year, Community Servant of the Year, Professional Service Business of the Year, Essential Service Business of the Year, Arts Entertainment & Hospitality Business of the Year, Best Small Business of the Year, Best Non-Profit Business of the Year, and Best Business of the Year,” Rodgers said. “We also recognize our Ambassador of the Year for his or her dedication and hard work on behalf of the Madison Chamber of Commerce.”
The nominees will be qualified based on the following requirements:
- Nominees must have been members of the Madison Chamber of Commerce for at least 6 months.
- Nominee memberships with the Madison Chamber must be in good standing at the time of nomination.
- Nominees cannot have won in the last three years
The winners will receive their awards during the live stream presentation.
