James Clemens Marching Band to present “Sounds of the Stadium” Nov. 10
MADISON – The James Clemens High School marching band will present its 2020 show “Sounds of the Stadium” Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Madison City Stadium on Celtic Drive.
Sounds of the Stadium is a highly energetic extravaganza performed by the band, color guard, dance team, and drum line under the direction of band directors Keith Anderson and Brian Sims. The program features the band’s 2020 show “Throwback” along with popular tunes performed in the stands at football games.
This is the ninth year of the fundraising event, which traditionally has been held in the high school auditorium. Because of COVID, the program has been moved outside and ticket sales will reflect social distancing guidelines.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to spend time safety outside with your family or friends and enjoy the sights and sounds of the marching band, particularly if you haven’t been able to attend a game this year,” Anderson said.
The band boosters organization is holding a silent auction in conjunction with the show. Items can be previewed online and tables with the auction items will be set up for viewing and bidding the evening of the event.
Tickets are available online now for $9 per person and will also be sold at the door ($11) if seats are still available.
