Sparkman Football Produces Two More College Signees

The Sparkman High football team produced two defensive linemen who have signed college scholarships. Jase Bradley, left, with his family, and Demetrius Matthews, right, with his family, signed their necessary documents to continue playing football at the next level. Bradley (6-4, 250) signed with the Hampden-Sydney College Tigers of Virginia. The NCAA Div. III school plays in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Bradley completed his senior season with 22 tackles including five for loss, had one fumble recovery and one sack and scored a defensive touchdown. Matthews chose to play for the Georgia Christian College Knights located in Valdosta, Ga. The Knights are a junior college. The 6-foot-6, 390-pound Matthews graded over 80-percent in his play in 2021.
