Alabama Magazine readers choose HMA as “Best of BAMA” award winner

HUNTSVILLE – The Huntsville Museum of Art (HMA) won the Best Art Museum category of Alabama Magazine’s 2022 “Best of BAMA” Awards. This is the Museum’s sixth win in eight years.

“We are honored to receive this recognition, which is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and collaboration year-round of the museum’s staff, Board of Directors, Foundation Board, its many volunteers, and the city and residents of Huntsville,” said HMA Executive Director Christopher J. Madkour. “We invite you to visit HMA and find out for yourself why we were voted the ‘Best of BAMA!’”

He said HMA would like to thank the readers of Alabama Magazine and the Museum’s patrons for voting in the contest. The “Best of BAMA” contest ran for 12 months and was promoted in the publication and on the magazine’s Facebook page. Alabama Magazine received votes from readers who chose the people, places, and events they felt were the best of the best in the state of Alabama.
