Singing River Trail has Mooresville building for headquarters, event space and visitors center
The Singing River Trail has a new building in Limestone County that will serve as its headquarters, an event space, rural innovation center and visitors center.
The office is on 6 acres in Mooresville along the trail’s route on Arrowhead Landing Road, said John Kvach, SRT executive director.
Kvach said they plan to make the space available as a corporate retreat center and use proceeds to fund trail building or provide matching money to small towns. He said they also want to create a rural e-center to drive entrepreneurship in rural areas and small towns in North Alabama.
There will be an open house soon for the new building, Kvach said.
He said the building was provided through the help of 1818 Farms, the McCrary Family, and the Town of Mooresville.
