Local author Jennifer S. Kelly will share “Derby” stories at Madison Library’s Author’s Talk this evening

Local author Jennifer S. Kelly will participate in an “Author’s Talk” event this evening, May 23, at the Madison Public Library. Jennifer is a horse racing historian, writer, and author of “Sir Barton and the Making of the Triple Crown” and “The Foxes of Belair: Gallant Fox, Omaha, and the Quest for the Triple Crown”. She will share a few stories about the sport’s past to show where its celebrated traditions originate.

The event will be held in Auditorium 2 at the Madison Public Library, 142 Plaza Blvd. in Madison. It will begin at 6 p.m. and last until 7:45 p.m.

Jennifer will also be at The Wine Cellar at 2304 Whitesburg Drive in Huntsville on Wednesday, May 24, to discuss her latest book. She will be there starting at 6 p.m.
