Beasley Brothers at gazebo Thursday

MADISON – The Beasley Brothers will play their original music, along with cover tunes, at the Madison Gazebo Concert on July 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Madison Arts Council (MAC) coordinates the summer concerts, held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the Village Green in Madison’s downtown historic district. Sponsors for the 2015 Madison Gazebo Concert series are Madison Hospital, Jerry Damson Honda/Acura and U-Lock-It Storage.

Huntsville residents and brothers Lawson Beasley and Jackson Beasley, along with Austin McBride and Josh Bolding, focus on the pop/rock genre and covers ranging from the 1960s to current hits.

“The First One,” their first and self-produced album, is available on iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby.com. Lawson and Jackson composed six original songs on the recording.

By three years of age, Lawson and Jackson Beasley were walking around with guitars and microphones. A history of music runs throughout the family. Now at 19 and 21 years old, Lawson and Jackson have joined together with lead guitarist McBride and drummer Bolding.

Recording artists that are favorites of the band include The Avett Brothers, Ben Rector, Green River Ordinance, Andrew Ripp, The Beatles, John Mayer, Van Morrison, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz and Mumford and Sons.

The Beasley Brothers entertain often at venues across North Alabama. Band members appreciate live performance and connecting with new and existing fans.

“We’ll have free face painting and yard games like cornhole set up for the kids,” MAC President Beth Ridgeway said. “Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt, Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza and Iceworks Shaved Ice will sell treats.”
