Rose said that as usual there were some tough decisions especially on the MVP Awards.

“Tavais played with great effort every play and was a very good leader. Khalil Griffin contributed on offense, defense and special teams.  He received the Versatility Award. Caden Rose led 3 fourth quarter come from behind game winning drives and was our Offensive MVP.

John Michael Riley punted, returned punts, kicked off and returned kicks.  He was our Special Teams MVP.”

Rose also recognized Defensive Coordinator Bryan Styles who has been on Rose’s staff all ten years at Bob Jones.

The Atrium at Intergraph provided a festive venue for the event that requires food and accommodations for about 150 players, parents, and guests.

Kimberly Shell Lawson is the BJHS Football Booster Club President.

“Jerry Felts helps with coordinating the date and all logistics with Intergraph to host the event. This is the third year that Intergraph has hosted the Bob Jones Football Banquet. The location and the space to adequately hold a 7A football banquet are just a couple of reasons that we use their facility,” she said.
