The Madison Record was recognized as the best newspaper in its division by the Alabama Press Association at the 2015 Better Newspaper Contest. The Madison Record also took home Most Improved, Best Newspaper Website, Best Local News Coverage and Best Education Coverage.

Madison Publications, LLC prints both The Madison Record and the Madison County Record on Wednesdays, as well as Madison Living, Madison’s premier monthly lifestyles publication. Special sections of Madison Publications, LLC include an annual football guide and Profiles in Courage, which highlights sacrifices made by Madison’s local veterans.
