Alabama School of Math and Science plans admissions session
HUNTSVILLE – The Alabama School of Math and Science (ASMS) will conduct an informational meeting on Oct. 9 at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
The session will start at 6 p.m. in the Louis Salmon Library, Room 111 at 301 Sparkman Drive NW.
Located in Mobile, Alabama School of Math and Science is the state’s only public, residential high school, serving Alabama’s brightest and most talented students. All current freshmen and sophomores in Alabama are eligible to apply.
ASMS is a state-sponsored public school with free tuition, room and board. ASMS provides a rigorous and innovative curriculum for sophomores, juniors and seniors.
“Throughout its history, ASMS has enrolled students from every Alabama County. ASMS graduates earn an average of $125,000 in college scholarship offers to attend the most prestigious schools throughout Alabama and the country,” publicist Amber Day said
