Margaritaville Hotel coming to Town Madison

MADISON – Town Madison has secured a first-for-Alabama location of Margaritaville Hotel.

Breland Companies announced on May 18 that the upscale destination lodging will be located adjacent to the baseball stadium’s centerfield wall. The 150-room, full-service hotel will offer several signature food and beverage concepts, a Margaritaville-branded retail store, 3,000 square feet of meeting space and a water park with a lazy river and sand volleyball court.

Margaritaville Hotel is the latest in a growing roster of commitments for Town Madison, a 563-acre modern, walkable and urban community, just south of I-565 and east of Wall Triana in Madison. A regional, mixed-use development, Town Madison will be home to more than 1 million square feet of new retail, restaurant and entertainment venues, along with 700,000 square feet of office space and 700 new hotel rooms, according to Breland Companies.

The hotel is slated to break ground in late 2018 and open in 2020.

“This is a huge win for our city,” Madison Mayor Paul Finley said. “Margaritaville is an international brand known for high-quality and fun projects. Not only will this hotel attract guests from across the region, but it will add multiple new dining and entertainment options for Madison residents.”

Inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s classic tune, Margaritaville features signature concepts like Margaritaville Restaurant, award-winning JWB Prime Steak and Seafood, 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill and LandShark Bar & Grill.

Chance Partners LLC will develop the project. “We are proud to bring the Margaritaville lifestyle of fun and relaxation to Town Madison,” President and CEO Judd Bobilin. “We see this as a great opportunity to integrate the Margaritaville experience into an exciting mixed-used project and with a state-of-the-art baseball stadium.”

Established in 2009, Chance Partners LLC is a real estate development and investment company with offices in Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Orlando. (chance-partners.com)

Officials now have announced or broken ground on more than $200 million in new projects in Town Madison, including the multi-use stadium venue, Hilton Home 2 Suites hotel, 280 units of luxury apartments and 300 single-family residential homes. DPZ Partners and Andres Duany have created the New Urbanist design. (townmadison.com)
