MADISON – Madison City Council of PTAs, in collaboration with WHNT-TV and Madison City Schools, will host two candidate forums.

The City Council Forum will be conducted at Bob Jones High School in Zompa Auditorium on Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. Individuals can submit questions or topics for the council candidates.

The Mayoral Candidate Debate on Aug. 17 will be held at James Clemens High School at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Residents also can submit questions or topics for this forum by visiting goo.gl/forms/YRyiMpIPvj9OzunH2.

The forums will be televised on WHNT2.

“Both events are being offered as a public service. There is no charge for admission,” Emily Cook said. Cook serves as Legislative Co-Chairperson for Madison City Council of PTAs.

Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Madison City Council of PTAs is a 501(c)3 organization that is completely non-partisan and will not endorse individual candidates.
