Local jazz sensation releases album nationwide

National independent record label Tate Music Group announces the nationwide release of “Epiphany…,” the new album from Christian jazz sensation James Bowman III, of Madison.

Produced by Tate Music Group, the album includes ten tracks and is currently available nationwide at the iTunes Store, Amazon.com, or directly from TateMusicGroup.com.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Penn., Bowman survived a tumultuous childhood and has gone from being homeless to acquiring a master’s degree. The intensity of his life experience is felt through his soulful sounds.

No stranger to music, Bowman has played drums and excess percussion with several national and international recording artists, including Brian McKnight, A Special Blend, Virtue, Mervyn Warren (formerly of Take 6) and Erik Essix. He has also opened (on drums) for other artists such as Tramaine Hawkins, Edwin Hawkins, Commissioned, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Bobby Jones, Nicole C. Mullin, DC Talk, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Vicki Winans, Kirk Franklin, Roland Gresham, and a host of others.

This young man possesses a smooth delivery reminiscent of crooners such as Nat King Cole while at the same time offering rhythmic vibes similar to Earth, Wind & Fire. His goal is to ultimately continue ministering through song and deed for Christ.

His Electronic Press Kit, including music samples and contact information, can be accessed here: http://www.tatemusicgroup.com/epk/?id=15419.
