Bob Jones College Fair can ease angst

MADISON – The annual College Fair at Bob Jones High School can calm students’ anxieties about university life, along with informing parents about both myths and actual expectations.

College Fair is slated for Jan. 18 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. After the fair, Bob Jones PTSA will meet, followed by Open House for students and parents to tour their spring-semester classrooms.

At the 2018 Bob Jones College Fair, “we are thrilled to host a number of colleges and representatives from the military who are all excited about sharing opportunities with our students,” College and Career Advisor Kathryn Champion said.

“This is the perfect time for students to grab some information, check out schools they may not have heard of and even make connections with local recruiters and alumni,” Champion said. “Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend.”

Conversely, the fair lets college representatives survey the career interests of Bob Jones students.

In addition, two special sessions will be available for families to discuss financial aid and veterans’ benefits.
