“The seventh-, eighth- and ninth-graders of Bob Jones and Discovery ended the season the same way they began it — as champions,” coach Jason Edwards said. “I am very pleased with the effort of all of these young men.”

The Bob Jones squads competed in the North Alabama Middle School and Junior Varsity Championship on Jan. 26. Bob Jones hosted the tourney. James Clemens High School wrestlers also entered the competition.

Tournament champions included D’aishuan Mitchell, Pierson Cauwels and Tyler Moulton. “All that needs to be said is, “Go Panthers! Go Patriots!” Edwards said.

In overall totals, Bob Jones scored 196.5, far outpacing the nearest competitor, Sparkman High School at 137.5. Other local teams at the meet were Grissom High School at 84 points; James Clemens, 60; Westminster Christian Academy, 43; and Huntsville High School, 5.
