MADISON – U.S. Air Force Airman Joshua T. Ramsdell of Madison has graduated from Basic Training.

Ramsdell completed this military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

He finished an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, basic warfare principles and skills, Air Force core values and physical fitness.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate’s degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

Ramsdell is a 2016 graduate of Bob Jones High School. His parents are Marc and Amy Ramsdell of Madison.

Joint Hometown News Service provided Ramsdell’s material for this article. The news service is a directorate of the Defense Media Activity’s production component and is responsible for the management of the Department of Defense’s Hometown News program.

This program, located in Fort Meade, Md., supports men and women serving in all branches of military service and the Department of Defense.
