‘Honoring the Korean War Veterans’ luncheon set for July 27
REDSTONE ARSENAL – An upcoming event will honor the valor of individuals who served during the Korean War in the 1950s.
The 17th annual luncheon for “Honoring the Korean War Veterans” is scheduled for July 27 at The Summit on Redstone Arsenal. The event will open at 11 a.m. and continue to 1:30 p.m.
Keynote speaker for the luncheon will be Lieutenant General Robert A. Rasch Jr., who works as Director of the Rapid Capabilities & Critical Technologies Office.
Individuals who plan to attend should RSVP by July 20 to K.C. Bertling at email@example.com. Attire for the luncheon will be service uniform for military personnel and business attire for civilians.
Korean War veterans can attend the luncheon at no cost. All other guests will pay $25 per person.

The Legacy 4 Korean War Veterans Foundation was established as a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization in January 2011. The foundation has defined it mission statement as “to honor and recognize the veterans with special emphasis on honoring the Korean War veterans and inspiring America’s future leaders.”
In addition, the organization relies on Biblical scripture in 2 Corinthians 9:6 (King James Version): “But this I say, he which soweth sparingly shall reap sparingly, and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
