Mortgage banking firm opens office in Madison

Residents of the Madison area now have another place to turn to when in need of a loan. MortgageAmerica, inc. held its ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, May 19.

Their Madison office, located at 401 Carter Drive, is officially open.

“We’re very excited to have a mortgage presence in Madison where they really need one,” said loan officer Diane Korb, “because there’s not that many mortgage lenders there.”

“One of the things that makes MortgageAmerica different is that we can close our loans in 10 days, which is a lot faster than most lenders,” explained Claudia Rossi, loan officer. “Plus we have great customer service.”

Korb explained there aren’t necessarily set hours. While the office is open during the day, loan officers are available nights and weekends. All that is needed is to make an appointment.

“I’m just very excited,” Korb said. “We offer a lot of products that a lot of lenders just don’t have, such as HomePath and Alabama bond, as well as all the traditional ones.”

Rossi said she and Korb decided to open an office in Madison because there is a lot of opportunity in the area.

“There’s a lot of growth here in Madison, and both Diane and I live in Madison,” Rossi explained.

Korb explained MortgageAmerica, inc. is a well-established company, as they have been in business for more than 30 years.

“We’re experienced loan offers and very hands-on personal treatment,” Korb said.
