MADISON – Calhoun Community College student Savannah McCullough of Madison recently was named a 2014 Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Scholar.

She will receive a $1,500 scholarship and gold medallion.

Students named Coca-Cola scholars were selected from the more than 1,700 applications submitted this year. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation funds the scholarships.

A mathematics major, McCullough reached a 4.0 GPA. She serves as a Calhoun Warhawk student ambassador and is active in Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Kappa Delta honor societies.
