Toyota, Calhoun to explain unique, two-year technician course
HUNTSVILLE, TANNER – Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama and Calhoun Community College are hosting two meetings to share information with students and parents about the new Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program.The AMT program is a two-year associate degree program that includes cutting-edge curriculum, along with learning business principles and the best practices of world-class manufacturers.
The program allows students to earn a wage while attending college and gain work experience with global manufacturing leaders. Students can enter the job market with no education debt and enter the job market as employees with real-world work experience.
The meetings on May 15 at 6:30 p.m. will be held at Huntsville Center for Technology, 2800 Drake Ave. in Huntsville and Alabama Robotics Technology Park, Phase II building, 6629 Hwy. 31 in Tanner, directly west of Calhoun’s main campus.
