Bob Jones beat Enterprise three straight games

Bob Jones beat Enterprise three straight games (25-16, 25-20, 25-18) to make it to the final four of the state volleyball tournament.

Behind the tough play of Drea Matthews who had 15 kills, six digs, and five blocks, the Lady Patriots stormed the Wildcats in the early game at Pelham Civic Complex.

The fourth ranked Lady Patriots take on fifth ranked Oak Mountain tonight at 5:30.  The winner advances to Thursday morning’s finals to play either defending state champion Huntsville High or Grissom, who knocked off top ranked McGill-Toolin in early action.

Adding to Drea Matthew’s strong defensive play in the match against Enterprise, Megan had 32 assists and two aces.  Lauren Butler had nine kills and nine digs.  Alexis Howell had six kills and eight digs and Haley Hop added six kills and four digs.
