Monark Grove Senior Living Facility marked a new era on Wednesday with a ribbon cutting that welcomed the facility into the KIRCO family of luxury senior living facilities. The facility opened in April of 2022 off County Line Road but has just recently joined the KIRCO family which already operates two facilities in Birmingham and Detroit.

The ribbon cutting brought city council members Renae Bartlett and Maura Wroblewski, Mayor Finley, representatives from Representative Dale Strong’s office and from the Madison Chamber of Commerce, and more to celebrate the grand opening.

Director of Sales and Marketing for KIRCO Michael MacDonnell welcomed all of the guests to the re-grand opening, “Today is a very special day for us as we are here to celebrate the culmination of hard work, dedication, and passion of both our operating team, Beztak, and the ownership organization, KIRCO. Our mutual goal has always been to provide a welcoming and vibrant environment for seniors, where they can live comfortably and safe.”

Michael MacDonell, Director of Sales and Marketing for KIRCO, opened the ceremony with an expression of thanks to the staff and local city and county leaders who made Monark Grove possible.

Senior Vice President of Operations from Beztak Senior Living Adam Snyder extended his gratitude on behalf of Beztak and KIRCO to all the staff who contributed to the event.

“We are thrilled to have such an amazing group of team members that really helped pull this all together,” Snyder said. “I also want to thank the residents of Monark Grove Madison. We are thrilled to have you here. We hope you are as proud to call this home as we are to have you call this home, and we look forward to welcoming many more people into this community over the next several years. Vice President of Senior Living for KIRCO Mac Coughenour also extended his gratitude to all those who made the facility possible, “We want our residents to feel like they are part of a family where they can make new friends and discover new interests. This would not have been possible without the support of our peers and partners.”

The event showed off the well-appointed spaces, the generous amenities, and the culinary abilities of the in-house executive chef with tours, live music, and an hors d’oeuvre spread.
