Pam Honeycutt resigns as Madison Chamber executive director

MADISON – The Madison Chamber of Commerce will soon begin the search for a new executive director.

Pam Honeycutt, who has led the Chamber for nearly four years announced her resignation recently.

“I have really enjoyed my time supporting Madison,” Honeycutt said as she announced her resignation on Dec. 15. “This town has become very dear to me.”

Honeycutt, who has been very successful in growing the Chamber’s impact and reach in the Madison area during her tenure as director said the New Year will bring a new direction for her. “It is a great time to start fresh and I will enjoy exploring new opportunities,” she said.

Honeycutt has not said what will be her next role or where.

Before coming to the Madison Chamber in early 2016, Honeycutt worked for 20 years in the field of communications, compiling experience in marketing, public relations and corporate communications.

During her time as executive director, the Chamber has grown several signature events and networking opportunities to support Madison businesses.
