Hudson is soccer Coach of the Year

Bob Jones High School girl's soccer Coach Ken Hudson was named girl's Coach of the Year, and several Madison and other high school soccer players from the area were recently named to the 2003 All-State Soccer Teams.
Midfielder Kelly McAlear, a 2003 Bob Jones High School senior and defender Erin Bunyard, a junior on the 2003 BJHS girl's soccer team were named to the Girls' First Team All State.
Forward Stephanie Boyd, a sophomore on Huntsville High School's 2003 team, midfielder Erica Glidewell, a 2003 senior on the East Limestone High School team and defender Adrienne Fowler, a 2003 Hazel Green High School senior were also named to Girls' First Team All State.
BJHS 2003 team juniors Kathleen Reagan, a midfielder and Erica Wales, a goalkeeper were named to the Girls' Second Team All State.
Sophomore forward Sarak Marek, who played on the 2003 Huntsville High School team and senior midfielder Betty Arawagoye, who played on the 2003 Butler High School team were also named to the Girls' First Team All State.
Honorable mention selections for the 2003 All-State Boys team include: forwards Anthony Cooper, Lee High School and Dameion Hammonds, Butler High School; midfielders Derek Patterson, Sparkman High School and Brandon Pryor, Bob Jones High School.
Honorable mention selections for the 2003 All-State Girls team include: forwards Sara Turner, East Limestone High School; midfielders Jessica Childress, Grissom High School and Ashley Durham, East Limestone High School; and defender Tiffany Sobul, Huntsville High School.
