Under the Big Top!: Broadway-style circus opens run at MidCity tonight

HUNTSVILLE – Venardos Circus, a Broadway-style animal-free circus, is back in the Huntsville area with shows starting tonight at the MidCity District, 5909 University Drive. There will be 15 shows over two weeks in the intimate red-and-white striped tent, October 7-17. This will be Venardos Circus’ first show in Alabama since their last visit in February 2020.

“We are thrilled to be back out on tour again bringing smiles and joy to families and kids of ALL ages,” explained Kevin Venardos, founder, and producer of The Venardos Circus. “Guests can expect to be transported back in time to the center ring of a centuries-old tradition, but one that we have tried hard to reinvent for a next generation while still tugging at the nostalgia of those returning to the circus.”

“The Venardos team offers a wonderful, entertaining, and nostalgic circus experience and we are thrilled to have them back at MidCity in 2021. Kevin’s commitment to an authentic and immersive show is easy to feel once you step into the iconic red and white tent. We had rave reviews in 2020 and can’t wait for North Alabama residents to enjoy Venardos Circus once again.” says Lindsey Pattillo Keane, Director of Marketing and Property Activation for MidCity District.
