Hudson is North girls soccer coach

Bob Jones High School girls soccer coach Ken Hudson, has been name as one of the coaches for the North Girls soccer team, according to an announcement by the Alabama High School Athletic Directors &Coaches Association.
Hudson's BJHS girls soccer team recently won the state 6-A championship.
Players from all over the state have been named to the North-South teams for the seventh annual Alabama All-Star Sports Week event to be held in Montgomery July 14-19. Two girls teams and two boys teams will square off in a Tuesday, July 15 doubleheader, beginning with the girl's game at 5 p.m. at the YMCA Soccer Complex. The boys contest begins at 7 p.m.
Erica Wales, Erin Bunyard and Kathleen Reagan of BJHS are members of the North girls team, as are Sara Turner of East Limestone, Micaela Crowley and Summer Ragsdale of Spain Park, Whitney Lopez of Butler, Jennifer Whitley, Katherine Whitley and Elizabeth Theibert of Indian Springs, Brittany Rivers, Carrie Beers and Brittany Romei of Homewood, Megan Shine and Allison Whitworth of Briarwood, Julie Gurak of Vestavia Hills, Audrey Denmark of Austin, Erin Murphy of Talladega, Mandy Woods of John Carroll; Kellyn Vincent, Catherine Spiker and Anne McIntyre of Oak Mountain.
Hunter Gray of Indian Springs, is the other coach for the North girls team.
Sports Week, which also includes in-state all-star games in basketball, volleyball, baseball, football and softball, will feature clinics and special sessions for coaches, athletic directors, cheerleader coaches and officials. A product exposition and other related activities are scheduled throughout the week.
The Alabama High School Athletic Directors and Coaches Association operates under the auspices of the Alabama High School Athletic Association. Membership includes coaches of all AHSAA sports as well as administrators of member schools.
