Melvin “Mac” Landers; Dec. 3, 2012

MelvMelvin “Mac” Landers, 86, of Madison passed away Monday, Dec. 3 at Athens Rehab and Senior Care.

Mr. Landers was born in Madison County to Matthew Landers and Lena Tuck Landers.

Graveside services were Thursday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. at Tuck Cemetery in Madison County with Everett Conn and Jimmy Crafts officiating. There was no public visitation.

Mr. Landers was a member of Capshaw Church of Christ, a United States Veteran of World War II in Japan and an avid Auburn fan.

Survived by his wife, Rosetta Pike Landers of Madison; daughter, Brenda McGlocklin of Madison; granddaughter, Kristen McGlocklin of Madison; sister, Naomi Turner and husband Curry of Gadsden.
Pallbearers were Clinton Smith, Phillip Humphrey, Billy Crawford, James Edward Pike, Gerald Crafts and Phillip Wagnon.
